As summer draws ever closer as do our exciting plans for NORTH's festival tour, in which we will be taking your favourite moon themed adventure 'The Man Who Thought The Moon Would Fall Out Of The Sky' to your favourite summer getaways; Lattitude and Bestival, where we plan to give 2013's festival goers and chance to have a closer look at the Ernest Scrapbook and take them on a tent based journey to the moon and back.

And as if our minds hadn't been blown already with our current festival theatre endeavours we are very, very, very excited to announce that we will also be going to the Edinburgh Fringe an all!

insert fanfare and mental guitar riffs!

We will be joining Northern Stage at St Stephen's church, who at last years fringe brought some brilliant theatre and pieces of cake from the region to over 8000 theatre and cake enthusiasts. If you missed the fringe last year, here's an idea of what Northern Stage can do to a church when left unattended....

So with a box of notebooks full of moon facts, a dusty piano and a strawberry daiquiri soaked scrapbook we now begin our quest to the Edinburgh Fringe! let's hope the moon stays put till then.

We'd also like to give massive THANKYOU for all the support we've had to make this tour a reality! Myself quite gobsmacked at the generosity and the kind words that have been flooding in our direction! we've already received half the funding we need on our lovely WeFund application! Here's the link if you fancy a cheeky ganders  http://wefund.com/project/north-summer-festival-tour/p57713/

In our next instalment, we shall regale you with stories of our fund raising journey so far. featuring some snapshots and insider accounts of NORTH's LUNAR PARTY last week and some LATE SHOWS antics and tomfoolery.

And on that bombshell....
Peace and love from George and the rest of the lovely NORTH team x
