TMWTTMWFOOTS

What a silly title. That is, in fact, the shorthand for our show "The Man Who Thought the Moon Would Fall Out of the Sky" and a more twitter friendly way of hash-tagging  and although it's quite fun to pronounce, (I'll get a phonetic spelling to you soon, might as well put my phonetics degree to use!) its quite a hard one to get trending. Nevertheless we shall persevere.

It's all gone rather quiet hasn't it. But I'm sitting in bed in my Arran knitwear in April, with a cup of tea, mourning the loss of my daily fix of the lovely NORTH company and that glorious black box that housed so much sweat, laughs, dodged balls, polos, palms to heads and maybe the odd tear...of joy! And here's some of the fruits...you can see on our FLICKR via our Northern Stage website.

This sounds like an obituary to the best three months we had as a company. It was. But it was the beginning. NORTH are still working away, planning our NORTH NIGHT social at Northern Stage next week, Friday April 12th. We want to provide artists, photographers, actors, theatre makers, producers, creative juice filled people...you name it. We just want you. You to get in a room and talk. No networking. Just meeting each other, a chance to talk properly. We'll have a drink. We'll listen to some live music and enjoy some art and installation. We'll breathe some new life into Stage 3 of Northern Stage. It's a space crying out to be used more. And we intend to use it!

I'm dying to tell you our exciting news but we're still putting all the important things in place and I think every single one of us is avoiding jinxing it....but we are touring. We will be spending the summer in a field somewhere bringing Ernest and She to whoever wants to meet them.

This blog shall keep on living. So stay with us! And come to NORTH NIGHT!

Because this is where it starts. And we'd like you to come on the adventure with us as we stand on our own two feet and prove to Northern Stage that what they set out to do will work. Now the small things shall begin...like a bank account, and a new name and our own identity, the second draft of The Man Who Thought the Moon Would Fall Out of the Sky, and our next show, and the one after that.

It's far from grim up here, this North, isn't it?

Love from the NOFFICE,

North_NS
